With every harvest for the past 75 years the Dal Bianco family has renewed its roots and inspiration. For this family, being winemakers means passing on over the years and generations the continuous thrill of taking care of Mother Nature’s precious gifts.
Masottina wines have their roots in the 280 hectares of vineyards acquired over the years by the family. Vine growing is the result of synergies between a constantly forward-looking approach and attention to origins, united by a common theme that enhances the different terroirs. These are the factors that inspire the entire vinification process, through to the final selection, to create well-balanced wines, sealed with the names of the locations they represent the most.

Gravity is our ally in vinification: it starts when the grapes enter the winery, goes through soft pressing and conveys the must to the fermenting vats. Maturation in tanks and careful monitoring lead to Masottina wines, the result of familiar rituals representing outstanding historic terroirs, selection from a single vineyard or clever cuvée blending. Only in this way can the flavour and aroma potential of each combination be defined, and the wine be able to fully express them in an elegant, limpid product.
Our land is our exclusive identity
Every drop of wine encapsulates not only local history and the nature of the landscape, but also all the sacrifices and dedication of the people who created it. Masottina comes from Veneto, the home of unique territories whose identity our winery strives to exalt and preserve, in a region where vines are the characteristic element that identify the landscape. We can thank Venice and its expansion and commercial influence if wines from Veneto are renowned beyond the borders of its territory.
The brand Ai Palazzi by Masottina for the winery’s important still wines. The grapes vinified for Masottina wines come from the almost three hundred hectares of vineyards owned and managed directly by the family, extending over the Conegliano hills, on the banks of the River Piave, at Gorgo al Monticano and Mogliano Veneto. This vine planted area has been built up over the years by the second generation and encapsulates the excellence of Masottina wines. Winemaker Adriano Dal Bianco now runs the Group, with his sons Federico, Vice Chairman, and Filippo, Sales Director. To complete the wine production, it was born in 2018 Ai Palazzi, dedicated to the important tradition of still wine particularly from Veneto, and the designation Colli di Conegliano DOCG with Montesco and Rizzardo, wines from two single vineyards, produced in a limited number. Adriano Dal Bianco is especially proud of this designation, as he was its main promoter.
