Appearance:
The “Lu Patri” is a pure Nero d’Avola, an expression of the Sicilian territory and revised in a modern key in the expert hands of the oenologist Cotarella. Winemaking: It is aged in French oak barrels for 14 months and a further twelve months in bottle. The grapes come from six hectares dedicated to them since the birth of the company. Elegance and territoriality for a wine that can be drunk with great satisfaction, full of nuances and character.
Tasting Notes:
Colour:Brilliant ruby red and nuances of ruby red, moderate transparency. Nose:Intense, clean, pleasing and refined, starts with hints of plum, black cherry and blackberry followed by aromas of violet, raspberry, blueberry, carob, tobacco, cinnamon, vanilla and menthol. Palate:Properly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasant softness. Persistent finish with flavors of plum, black cherry and blackberry.
